The Cowell Expansion has made major headway in the last couple of months, and we are anxiously anticipating opening Jaguar Land Rover’s brand-new home very soon. Since our ground-breaking in September 2015, great strides have been made to ensure Cowell Auto Group puts customer experience above all else, and that customers walk away feeling wowed.
A recent tour of Jaguar Land Rover of Richmond highlights how the building will focus on the customer experience. Starting with a covered entry way, you will be protected by the elements the second you drive on to our lot. Moving towards the front door, the building is designed to intuitively guide you to your desired destination whether it be the service department, parts department or one of the two showrooms.
From the ground up this building was constructed with the environment in mind. The foundations have all been recycled from the concrete and asphalt that was there previously, energy-efficient lighting has been installed, and our heating and air-conditioning units have all been upgraded to high-efficieny.

A key feature in the brand-new Jaguar Land Rover building will be the catwalk, looking down on our main showroom in a mezzanine. At the end of the catwalk will be an area where you are given the ability to customize your Jaguar and Land Rover vehicle inside and out. Paint swatches and fabric samples will be on hand, so you can see exactly what is available.
